Foremost, the incredible
beauty of the natural world surrounding us provides an artistic inspiration
within. Through art and photography I attempt to portray the feeling
attained when exploring wilderness areas, studying wildlife and the meditative
solitude of
canoeing on remote waterways. Something as simple as a ray of sunlight beaming through the
low hanging, morning mist over a calm lake never ceases to capture my soul.
Perhaps the splendor of an evening sunset, a wandering lone bison or a colorful
array of wildflowers in a mountain meadow will provide inspiration. The recognition of
time spent outdoors in our natural world elevates the creative spirit and informs the artist within. |
